Growth Through Camaraderie at WorldVentures

WorldVentures Congratulates Joel Bloomquist

WorldVentures Co-Founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue would like to congratulate Joel Bloomquist on his promotion to Senior Representative.  Here are a few words from Joel about his journey to Senior Representative.

As a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, Joel Bloomquist knows a thing or two about setting a goal and achieving it. In the military, he has always had to trust and work closely with those around him and as he ascends the ranks at WorldVentures, he has not lost sight of the importance of camaraderie and looking out for his fellow man.

“Spending time on building relationships with others on the team really makes a huge difference,” he says. “We do simple things like go for pizza or have a get-together and just hang out.  After all, we need to remember to enjoy life!”

Joel realized early that keeping his team motivated and engaged went a long way towards achieving everyone’s dreams, including his.

“The key to achieving Senior Rep with WorldVentures was applying the saying, ’It isn’t about yourself. It’s about others on your team,’” he says. “I began to instill vision and future possibilities toward my team members.  I looked at those who were members but were not taking action.  By taking action on my side of the house—calling, offering assistance—and my belief they had the tools to create some motion, I began to have motion from others.”

As Joel sees others take hold of their futures, he is reminded of how much WorldVentures has impacted their lives and in return, his own.

“Network marketing is a skill that must be learned and learning takes humility, time and commitment,” he says. “As I see others take this journey, I see this become a reality for them too.  Sharing this experience with others is about changing lives, literally.”

R.E.B.E.L.s with a Cause at WorldVentures

WorldVentures Congratulates Phyllis Ferguson and Becky Brice

WorldVentures Co-Founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue would like to congratulate Phyllis Ferguson and Becky Brice on their promotion to Senior Representative.  Here are a few words from Phyllis and Becky about their journey to Senior Representative.

When Phyllis Ferguson and Becky Brice partnered up to create their WorldVentures business, little did they know it would impact every aspect of their lives. These ladies, whose team name is Team R.E.B.E.L – Retire Early by Embracing Life, said they know WorldVentures provides true hope for their futures and enables living a life full of passion and freedom.

For the animated duo, signing up was an easy decision, influenced by their desire for more of two things in their lives.

“Fun and money!” they enthusiastically share.

However, once they began to really engage and immerse themselves in training and building their team, both Phyllis and Becky began to see WorldVentures in an entirely new light.

“The personal growth we have received through the training with WorldVentures has not only impacted our business but our marriages, family life, church life and professional life,” Phyllis says. “We have also seen it impact our team members in ways that far exceed financial rewards.”

As for their secrets of success, Becky acknowledges that even for high-achieving Reps, staying motivated can be a challenge. But, they’ve found that staying connected with their team on a weekly basis helps, as well as their belief in one rule.

“It is not an option to fail,” she says. “We work together as a team and keep each other accountable. We continually go back to that burning desire.”

Big Dreams Out of Bed-Stuy at WorldVentures

WorldVentures Congratulates Jose Quinones

WorldVentures Co-Founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue would like to congratulate Jose Quinones on his promotion to Regional Marketing Director.  Here are a few words from Jose about his journey to Regional Marketing Director.

For Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn native Jose Quinones, there is no better motivation for succeeding in WorldVentures than his family. He aspires to not only fulfill his dreams, but theirs as well.

“I think about my mom and dad and remember how hard they worked to give me and my little brother anything we asked for,” he said. “I think about all the downs.  I think about where I came from and how badly I want out! I think about people who see me and my drive, and how I give them hope.”

To achieve the levels of success he wants with WorldVentures, Jose learned quickly that two lessons would be key. “Staying coachable and staying consistent,” he said. “I knew if I stayed that way, I could get through ‘no’s’ faster. Becoming successful isn’t going to be easy, but the ride getting there will be incredible.”

Jose has big goals in mind and has his site set on becoming an International Marketing Director by the end of 2013 and a top earner in 2014. As he works toward ascending the ranks, where he is now in WorldVentures and what he has gained are not lost on him.

“WorldVentures has impacted my life already” he exclaims. “The positive energy in my life, the personal development, becoming a better person—I love it!”

Off-the-Court Leadership at WorldVentures

WorldVentures Congratulates Nic Wise

WorldVentures Co-Founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue would like to congratulate Nic Wise on his promotion to Senior Representative.  Here are a few words from Nic about his journey to Senior Representative.

As a former high-level collegiate and current professional basketball player, Senior Representative Nic Wise understands that strong leadership and motivation are requirements for a team to be successful. With his drive and “never quit” attitude, WorldVentures was the perfect opportunity for him to showcase his leadership skills—and to set himself up for the legacy he wants to leave behind.

“I remember every person I enrolled in these past few months, and know that I'm their leader,” Nic says. “If the leader is weak, soft and unmotivated, the team will follow.”

Seeing behind-the-scenes of the athletic world and knowing some of the pitfalls are both huge motivators for Nic to keep himself and his team growing, focused on victory.

“I’m a professional athlete and know that 64 percent of all pro athletes go broke after they’ve finished playing,” he says. “I don’t want to be the next one. Passive residual income is the best type of income you can ever receive and I have that at age 25.”

As an athlete, Nic is extremely coachable and that has helped him succeed—and keep his eyes on the future and not just the moment.

“The most important thing I would pass on is to plug into the system and do it the way WorldVentures teaches us,” he says. “Don’t think your own way will get it done for you. WorldVentures will retire me from pro basketball earlier than expected and bring my family closer together with DreamTrips.”

WorldVentures Congratulates Samantha Torres

WorldVentures Co-Founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue would like to congratulate Samantha Torres on her promotion to Director.  Here are a few words from Samantha about her journey to Director.

WorldVentures: What were the key tools to your recent success and what did you learn?

Samantha Torres: TRAINING! TRAINING! TRAINING! TRAINING!! Did I say TRAINING?  but I can't take all the credit; the key tools to my recent success have been my family/friends in TeamNoSleep who have been pushing so hard during my flu episode that happened when I got back from Nashville; because of their hard work I made my new rank while being sick! (Thanks for that guys I love you!) Push your teammates to training! It’s KEY; and Dave Watson's Score Book which is literally an amazing tool. Keeping track of your work (being a tad bit green) will get you sooo far! If you track your progress you will progress!

WorldVentures: How do you stay motivated to continue to work so hard and move up the ranks?

Samantha Torres: I didn't come from much, I wasn't raised with a silver spoon in my mouth; I've learned that staying humble and knowing WHY I want to succeed so bad; will take me as far as I want to go in this business. (If your WHY does not make you cry, dig deeper and find another one!) You have to stay excited, pay attention and NEVER QUIT!  Also, simply knowing that I have my family and teammates who depend on me is what pushes me every day.

WorldVentures: Do you think your achievements in the past had an impact in your decision to join WorldVentures?  If so, how did your success impact your decision?

Samantha Torres: Actually, my lack of achievements is what motivated me to join WorldVentures. Yea I've been on the perfect attendance list, yea I've done many commercials and short films, first place in many athletic events, but.... something has always been missing. I wanted more meaning in life. I've never completed anything major or stuck around at a job for longer than 3-4 months...till now. I needed something different. Working for someone else’s dream was not cool to me at all. Besides how can I change lives living in a box?! I love life, and people, and want to travel the world before I die; feeling FREE has always been a HUGE desire of mine. No job could ever give me those satisfactions; With WV I am FREE. :) Besides... I have the gift of gab I knew I could do this as long as it was fun and on my terms lol. I have my big sister Ruth Castro(director) and nephew Jose Quinones(RMD) to thank for introducing me to WV. I love you guys! I never would have done this without my family.

WorldVentures: What’s the single-most important message you want to send to new mobile-preneurs?

Samantha Torres: Find out why..Why do you want to succeed? is there a child depending on you? Are you tired of seeing your parents work so hard not getting what they deserve? Do you feel and know you deserve more out of life?...Whatever that reason is keep that reason WHY in your heart and never let it go. Everyone has a why. Never give up, because it’s not WorldVentures who you would be giving up on.. It’s yourself and your why.. Can you afford to not afford life later on?

WorldVentures: What impact do you expect WorldVentures to have on your life and the lives of others?

Samantha Torres: A BIG ONE! Retirement for everyone who puts there PERSONAL EFFORT in to this. FUN and FULFILMENT for ALL.

WorldVentures: What are your 1 yr., 5-yr. and 10-yr. goals with WorldVentures?

Samantha Torres: I've only been a part of WV for just about 6 months now, Making Director happened so fast that I feel sky is definitely NOT the limit! 1yr. from now I'd love to have my own home, building new schools and homes for the less fortunate, Be IMD and working on taking my 2nd position to the top as well. 5yrs. from now I hope to have all my closest friends and family members at the top with me :) 10yrs. from now my children will be wearing a MAKING A LIVING LIVING T-Shirts, and the whole world will know who we are :)

WorldVentures: If you do have days when you’re not motivated, how do you handle it?

Samantha Torres: I don't have time to be unmotivated. My why is way too big to let the little things kick me off track. If it happens to you, just surround yourself around successful motivated people at all times and it'll rub off on you; trust me.

WorldVentures: What is the one piece of advice someone gave you that you wish you had known much earlier in life?

Samantha Torres: My nephew told me, "In order to get comfortable you have to get uncomfortable". He was right; I wanted my own home, a car, and money without restrictions...so he said "The person who holds the clicker makes the big money!"..That was uncomfortable for me at first, but hey; if you want it, you have to get uncomfortable to get comfortable.. Now my comfort level in life has gone way up.

WorldVentures: What legacy will you leave to your child/children/family?

Samantha Torres: I want my family to remember me as someone who never gave up on life or people. Someone who traveled the world with the intention to change 20 million lives by introducing wv to someone, building bottle schools, and foster homes. I want them to know and understand that opportunities only knock once in life and I took it and ran with it; that being WV, and that being the reason why they don't have to struggle like I did; so they can have a life with no limits; and be proud to be a part of the wv family.

WorldVentures: What tactic or strategy has had the biggest impact on the size of your check?

Samantha Torres: RUN THROUGH YOUR NUMBERS AND DO IT FAST! Not waiting for travel parties or my sponsor to show the business, in hand with keeping track of my progress using the score book is what has had an extremely big impact on the size of my check. IF YOU WANT IT, GO GET IT! "When you hungry; YOU EAT!" - Julio June Acosta

WorldVentures: What do you feel sets DreamTrips apart from a regular vacation?

Samantha Torres: VIP lifestyle baby! IT’S FUN! and what other company do you know will let you waive your fees with just 4 people?!

WorldVentures: What’s your favorite motivational quote and why?

Samantha Torres: "If you want something different, then you have to do something different."  This is my favorite quote because I've always known this to be true in life just never found where to apply my efforts until I joined wv. WorldVentures is just different. :)
